DC iWave · 1970WDC0001
Fronius TransTig iWave 230i DC, water cooled / gas cooled, 230A and can be connected to other devices (hard hat, remote control or mobile phone) via Bluetooth, wireless LAN and NFC. Digitized TIG DC power source and required accessories see variants.

Connectivity
Bluetooth

For connecting wireless remote controllers and Bluetooth-enabled welding helmets.
NFC
For user management - or for simple Locking and unlocking the welding system.
WLAN
For full network capability - for updates and use of the
of the Smart Manager function without Ethernet (data documentation).

TAC
With TAC, one spot is all it takes for tacking, because the pulsed arc sets the two weld pools in motion, making them jump together in next to no time, to make one single weld-pool. The TAC function is also very useful when welding light-gauge sheets without filler metal.

HF ignition
The touchless and gentle high-frequency ignition is the easiest option for igniting the arc.

Touchdown ignition
Touchdown ignition can be used in particular for sensitive application areas. This allows electromagnetic interference, which can occur during HF ignition, to be avoided.

Principle of operation
The central control unit of the power sources is a digital signal processor
coupled. Control central control unit and signal processor the entire welding process.
During the welding process, actual data is continuously measured for changes
will respond immediately. Control algorithms ensure that the desired nominal state is
obtained remains.
This results in:
- a precise welding process,
- An exact reproducibility of all results
- Excellent welding properties.

Applications
The devices are used in commercial and industrial manual TIG applications with unalloyed
and low alloyed steel as well as high alloyed chromium / nickel steel Commitment
