Fronius - Welding Process LSC (low spatter control)
Short arc process exceptionally low spatter and stable
With the LSC process, Fronius has developed a modified short arc with extremely high spatter stability
Arc stability. This enables the user to achieve high-quality weld seams
with very low spatter formation and increased deposition rate. Because the
LSC principle is based on the fact that the short circuit is resolved at a low current level
level. This leads to a gentle re-ignition and a stable welding process. This
represents a significant difference to the standard short arc. Due to the
Development of the TPS/i power source platform, control over the short arc could be
significantly improved. The TPS/i detects process states during a short circuit very accurately
quickly and reacts to them. In conjunction with the new stabilisers, the
User achieves exceptional results.
Burn-in stabiliser
An additional wire stabiliser stabilises the Torch when the distance to the
Component, the current and penetration remain constant. The arc gains enormous stability,
and the penetration is much more constant. With conventional MIG/MAG devices without
Stabiliser, the welding current and therefore the arc penetration
Welding performance. The result: If the penetration is too low, this can lead to fusion defects
can occur. If the penetration is too high, the seam can fall through on thin sheets,
because the welding current increases.
LSC is a MIG/MAG welding process with high arc stability and reduced
Spatter formation in the short arc. In addition, the penetration stabiliser - despite
constant penetration in the spray arc despite any stick-out changes.
Attention:
Welding Process LSC is only available in combination with Welding Process Standard
