Very well suited for welding in constrained positions. The weld metal is age-resistant and cold-tough down to -20°C. Root weldability proven. For root welding, it is recommended to weld the MMA to the negative terminal. The arc is more focused and the material transfer is finer. This makes root shaping easier; furthermore, the arc is less susceptible to blow-off.
