Main areas of application
Suitable for grooving and cutting almost all metals, for seam preparation, for removing welded-on jigs, for joint planing, for drilling holes and for cutting unalloyed and alloyed steels, grey cast iron, as well as aluminium and copper alloys.

Special notes
Grooving and cutting operations can be carried out in all positions except vertical upward. The Rod electrode must be guided at an angle of approximately 15° to the workpiece. During cutting operations, perform sawing movements with the Rod electrode. The MMA draws a very high current (high arc voltage), so the power source must be sufficiently powerful. The welding current to be set is higher than the actual measured value. As this difference varies depending on the equipment, the welding current settings listed can only serve as a guide.
