Description

Stick electrode, size: 3.2 mm Ø , 350 mm long, PU = 150 pieces / 2 kg, with special coating for welding aluminium-silicon casting alloys. Aluminium-silicon alloy weld metal, DIN 1732: EL - AlSi 12, material number: 3.2585.

Special instructions
Guide the stick electrode with a short arc perpendicular to the base material. For larger workpieces and wall thicknesses over 15 mm, preheat the area of the weld joint to 150 - 250°C.

Re-drying
Generally not necessary.
However, the cladding tolerates re-drying up to a maximum of 150°C
