Universally applicable stick electrode for repair welding on castings. Weld short beads (30 - 50 mm), hammer off weld beads well immediately to relieve stresses. By choosing the correct polarity when welding with direct current, certain properties can be achieved: Minus pole - pulsating arc, deep penetration and good flank formation, flat seams Positive pole - higher welding speed, lower penetration, higher seams AC - lowest heat input, favourable for filler layer welds
