25.03.2014 - Fronius - Accupocket - mains-independent manual electric welding - mobile without limits
AccuPocket from Fronius is the world's first MMA welding system that, thanks to its low overall weight of 11 kg and a high-performance lithium-ion battery, allows unprecedented freedom of movement for E-Hand and TIG welding. With a fully charged battery, up to six 3.25 mm electrodes or 16 2.5 mm diameter electrodes can be welded.
The ActiveCharger charger, tailored to the special requirements of the AccuPocket, is based on Fronius' proven Active Inverter Technology. It charges the battery to more than 90 % of the total capacity of 400 Wh in just 30 minutes in fast charging mode. An intelligent control system with AccuBoost Technology ensures that the battery and welding electronics interact perfectly. In practice, this regularly means better welding results than can be achieved with comparable, purely mains-powered electrode welders.
AccuPocket minimises time-consuming welding preparation work and is therefore also more economical than conventional electrode welding systems in many applications over the entire service life.
Unlimited mobility when welding / Repair welding in the high mountains, assembly jobs in the open field or welding work in exposed locations. Until now, such jobs involved costly and time-consuming preparation work. Long mains supply lines or the use of large, heavy generators with 8 kVA are not necessary. Because AccuPocket heralds a new, previously unattained era of mobile welding.

The Hamburg Stadtpark Revival will be held on a 1.7km closed track. Today, as in the past, racing machines and sports cars will take to the starting line. Among them are vintage cars and active participants from the Stadtpark racing era. Companies present their goods, private individuals and professionals their vehicles - and this year we from the Schweiss-Shop are also part of the party! We welcome you to our stand (Saarlandstraße / corner Hellbrookstraße). Conformity package facilitates EN 1090 audit for steel welders
Conformity package makes it easier for steel welders to audit to EN 1090 From July 2014, companies that manufacture steel structures must be certified. This is preceded by an elaborate internal process with a subsequent audit by an external certification body. However, both standards - the national standard or EN 1090 - apply until that time. This means that the client can already demand compliance with EN 1090 today. The good news: For all owners of a TransSteel welding system from Fronius, the time-consuming application and creation of welding procedure specifications (WPS) is no longer necessary. These systems are also available from us for rent. We are happy to offer you an attractive long-term rental (min. 365 days) on request.
