From July 2014, all manufacturers of steel supporting structures will be subject to the new EN 1090 standard. Prepare now and save precious time and money with Fronius.
The time-consuming application and creation of the welding procedure specifications (WPS) is no longer necessary for them! Instead, all they need to do is order the conformity package and, as a TransSteel user, receive the approved welding procedure specifications directly from Fronius. This conformity package consists of a collection of welding procedure specifications and two badges. The WPQR and WPS apply to steel structures (EN1090-2) of execution class (EXC) 1 and 2.

Conformity package makes it easier for steel welders to audit to EN 1090 From July 2014, companies that manufacture steel structures must be certified. This is preceded by an elaborate internal process with a subsequent audit by an external certification body. However, both standards - the national standard or EN 1090 - apply until that time. This means that the client can already demand compliance with EN 1090 today. The good news: For all owners of a TransSteel welding system from Fronius, the time-consuming application and creation of welding procedure specifications (WPS) is no longer necessary. These systems are also available from us for rent. We are happy to offer you an attractive long-term rental (min. 365 days) on request.
