Product description
The burnished universal bolt is the ideal connecting element between Siegmund components. It is used to connect elements with different material thicknesses. The clamping range for the universal bolt short is 45-53 mm, for the universal bolt long 70-78 mm. The large balls shift the centre of pressure to the outside and prevent material displacement in the direction of the hole due to the low surface pressure at high clamping forces.
The universal bolt is clamped with the integrated handwheel or with a 14 mm Allen key (article no. 280854).
This bolt is NOT permitted for connecting tables and U-shaped angles!
The tightening torque depends on the table type.
