The patented headband for maximum comfort
All welding masks in the 3M Speedglas 9100 series are equipped with a unique, finely adjustable comfort headband for a millimetre-precise fit. The surface of the human head is criss-crossed with nerves, arteries and acupressure points. Pressure on some of these points can lead to fatigue and headaches. The headgear is designed to avoid pressure on these sensitive points. It also offers many adjustment combinations to tailor the mask to your needs and individual comfort. Less pressure and a perfect fit - that means more comfort and well-being and therefore more effective work throughout the day.
More comfort with the mask up
In the raised position, the highest point of the welding mask is lower than that of other welding masks. In terms of design, this means that the mask is worn as close to the head as possible, resulting in a favourable centre of gravity. This makes the welding mask particularly well-balanced. The headgear does not have to be adjusted so tightly, which further increases the wearing comfort.

The 3M™ Speedglas™ 9100 welding filters follow our tradition of optical excellence. Optical quality features include uniform dimming and distortion-free visibility across the entire field of view. An adjustment to suit each welding task avoids eyestrain and enhances the quality of every welding job.

Lightweight, with higher airflow
The 3M™ Versafl o™ Compressed Air Regulator V-500E is a belt-mounted, easy-to-adjust compressed air control unit that consistently delivers your choice of airflow rate - from 170 l/m to 305 l/m. An integrated silencer keeps airflow noise to a minimum
at the level of a normal conversation. If the airflow rate is undershot, the control unit warns with a whistling sound. Air tools can be connected to the control unit via an input without reducing the air supply to the mask.
The belt-mounted control unit is connected to a tested compressed air hose via a quick coupling. Breath quality must be in accordance with the requirements of EN12021. Oil vapour or water vapour in the air supply or non-toxic unpleasant odours can be eliminated by an air purification station, such as the ACU1 and ACU2.

They have the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin on them. In addition, there are notes attached to the dustbin symbol indicating which pollutants are contained in the battery or accumulator: Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb). You must return these batteries/rechargeable batteries. Irrespective of the legal obligation, we ask you not to dispose of batteries or accumulators in the household waste for the sake of the environment. |
