Advantages:

• extinguish dangerous flashbacks - through flame arresters FA made of sintered chrome-nickel steel
• extinguish flashbacks - through temperature-controlled backflow preventer TV
• prevent the formation of explosive mixtures in the gas supply - through gas non-return valves NV

Application:

• the safety devices are protected against gas backflow and flame transmission at tapping points (BGV D1, § 9/BGR 500 Chapter 2.26 Point 3.15)
• at tapping points of distribution lines and individual cylinder systems with larger consumers, for example
• For example to supply flame-cutting machines
• the safety devices can be installed in any type of Torch, regardless of their position
• only one safety device may be connected per appliance
• the ambient temperature must not exceed 60 °C
• Gas types: acetylene, natural gas, hydrogen, oxygen, ethylene, propane, compressed air (others on request)

Maintenance:

• at least once a year according to BGV D1, § 49/BGR 500 chapter 2.26 point 3.27
• wITT will be happy to provide you with a test device on request
• the safety devices may only be opened and repaired by the manufacturer
