Description

Most important areas of application
Aluminium-silicon alloys, as well as different types of aluminium alloys. Conditionally for hardenable alloys such as AlCuMg 1 (3.1325), AlMgSi 1 (3.2315), AlZn 4,5 Mg 1 (3.4335)

Special instructions
Guide the stick electrode with a short arc perpendicular to the base material. Preheat the area of the weld joint to 150 - 200°C for larger workpieces and wall thicknesses over 15 mm. As the pure weld metal is not hardenable, do not place the weld seams in the mechanically highly stressed zones when welding hardenable aluminium alloys.

Re-drying
Generally not necessary.
However, the cladding tolerates re-drying up to a maximum of 150°C
