Suitable for gouging and cutting almost all metals, preparing seams, removing welded-on auxiliary devices, gouging, piercing holes and cutting unalloyed and alloyed steels, grey cast iron as well as aluminium and copper alloys.

Special instructions
Grooving and cutting can be carried out in all positions except vertically rising. The rod electrode must be guided at an angle of approx. 15° to the workpiece. During cutting work, make sawing movements with the rod electrode. The electrode draws a lot of current (high arc voltage), so the power source must be sufficiently powerful. The welding current to be set is higher than the actual measured current. As this difference depends on the equipment, the welding current setting values listed can only be a guide.
