Pickling pastes remove tarnish and scaling in the area of weld seams and heat affected areas as well as extraneous rust on stainless steel materials. Stir pickling pastes well before use. Remove welding slag residues before use. Apply a covering coat with a pickling brush. Depending on the degree of soiling and scaling and the type of pickling paste, the exposure time is between 10 and 60 minutes, for stabilised stainless steel materials between 30 and 120 minutes, for nickel and nickel alloys between 5 and 15 minutes. Finally, rinse thoroughly with water.
