Applications
The 3M Speedglas 9100 MP welding helmet protects the user from welding sparks and from harmful UV and IR radiation generated by most welding processes. This Speedglas 9100 MP welding helmet additionally offers
Head protection. The product may only be used in combination with the 3M Speedglas glare protection cassettes of the 9100 series and the corresponding attachment lenses. When combined with a blower or compressed air system, the welding helmet provides additional respiratory protection against a wide range of pollutants that can be released during welding.

The patented headband for maximum comfort
All welding masks in the 3M Speedglas 9100 series are equipped with a unique fine-adjustable comfort headband for a millimetre-precise fit. The surface of the human head is criss-crossed with nerves, arteries and acupressure points. Pressure on some of these points can lead to fatigue and headaches. The headgear is designed to avoid pressure on these sensitive points. It also offers many adjustment combinations to tailor the mask to your needs and individual comfort. Less pressure and a perfect fit - that means more comfort and well-being and therefore more effective work throughout the day.

More comfort with the mask up
In the raised position, the highest point of the welding mask is lower than that of other welding masks. In terms of design, this means that the mask is worn as close to the head as possible, resulting in a favourable centre of gravity. This makes the welding mask particularly well-balanced. The headgear does not have to be adjusted so tightly, which further increases the wearing comfort.

"Park" position
The smooth-running folding mechanism can be locked in the raised position - a light pull releases the mask again
lower again.
